Our vision: "To reach all people, restore
the hurting, and disciple every believer into active ministry."
Our goal is to fulfill The Great Commission
of our Lord: "GO INTO THE WORLD, MAKING DISCIPLES."
We interpret 'THE WORLD' as being first
our own home (Denbigh, Virginia), then the
surrounding areas of Virginia, and finally
the entire world.

We support many local ministries, among them the Southeastern
Correctional Jail Ministry, Youth Challenge, Denbigh United
Christian Outreach, our own Food and Clothes Closet, and two
Nursing Home ministries. Our church has 'mothered' several
churches in the area of Gloucester and Hampton, and has assisted
in the beginnings of several others.
We support missions and missionaries in India, Haiti, South
Africa, Portugal, North Africa, and the Philippines.
We believe that the church should be a place to which people
can bring pain, hurt, and individual need, confident of finding
new meaning and direction for their lives through fellowship,
worship, teaching, prayer, and the very real presence of God.
In order to accomplish this, our church offers programs and
ministries designed to meet the needs of all age groups. We
believe strongly in the power of scripture in dealing with
all of life's situations. We also believe that God has commissioned
our church to be instrumental in the area of child care and
Christian education. Since the inception of the Denbigh Christian
Academy in 1977, thousands of children have been loved, nurtured,
and advanced both spiritually and academically by our dedicated
staff.
